Life van photo shoot

Friday 2nd July was a very busy but also very exciting day for Life Video Productions. The day started at 6am with 2 large cups of strong coffee and a last minute equipment check. After a quick stop off at Sainsbury's to fill up the tank (and to gain extra nectar points) I was finally cruising the open road. Destination, the deepest depths of Cornwall. My main objective for the day was to shoot a short video for a musician, but that story is a Blog in itself

This Blog is purely dedicated to the hours of 4-6pm, or as I like to call it 'Life van photo shoot'.

How it came about? I'd spoken to Mike Lacey (Photographer from Platinum wedding photos) and had explained that I wanted some arty farty, moody type photos of the Life van for our website. I needed the photos to be used as banners as well as stand alone pieces so had emailed Mike through some examples of similar looking shots from the net.

What happened? Rally racing, thats what bloody happened! The shoot involved a very quite country road in Cornwall, a sharp corner and high speed. Mike set up his equipment and sat patiently in a thorn bush, whilst I got behind the wheel and gave it some revs. After 2 hours of racing past Mike we had finally managed to capture what we needed. Here are a couple of my favourites. Result!
